The
name of the book is “You are the PLACEBO, making your mind matter, " written by Dr. Joe Dispenza, an American writer and a
scientist.
First I will tell the meaning of Placebo. Placebo
is a pill, injection, or thing that appears to be medical treatment, but isn’t.
In most cases, the person does not know that the treatment they are receiving
is a placebo. Instead, they believe that they're the recipient of the important treatment. But actually, it’s a fake treatment.
However, a person feels better. Because they give a response like a real treat.
Then the question comes “ Is it possible to heal our body by thought alone,
without drugs or surgery? The answer is “ Yes”. Because our thoughts, our
beliefs are more powerful. They can change the external environment through an
internal environment. When individuals believed they were taking the real
medicine.
The writer never planned on doing any of this. It
happened when he had participated in the car race. He was coming to the tricky
road. That time a four-wheeler car slammed into his bike from behind. He had
broken his vertebrae. His full backside from shoulder to kidney had completely
collapsed. When the vertebra is compressed and fractures the bone has to go
somewhere.
He was transferred to the hospital. The doctor
said, he need champion 12-inch stainless steel rods in the back. However, he
would not walk again. He had needed a big surgery. But he decided against the
medical model and expert recommendations. He believed that there is an
intelligence, an invisible consciousness within each of us that is the giver of
life. It supports maintains, protects, and heals us every moment.
But while he intellectually understood that the
body often can heal itself, now he had to apply every bit of philosophy that he
knew to take that knowledge to the next level and beyond to create a true
experience with healing.
